Cap Sizing Guide: How to Find Your Perfect Fit

A cap that does not fit properly is worse than no cap at all. Too tight gives you headaches. Too loose falls off during training. Here is how to find your perfect fit.

How to Measure Your Head

  1. Take a flexible measuring tape (or a piece of string)
  2. Wrap it around your head just above your ears and across the middle of your forehead
  3. Note the measurement in centimetres

Size Chart

  • Small: 54-55 cm
  • Medium: 56-57 cm
  • Large: 58-59 cm
  • XL: 60-61 cm

The Adjustable Advantage

Fit Tips

  • The brim should sit just above your eyebrows - not touching them, not riding high on your forehead
  • You should be able to fit one finger between the cap and your head - snug but not squeezing
  • The cap should stay in place when you bend forward - if it falls off, tighten the strap
  • Break it in - new caps loosen slightly after a few wears. Start slightly snug

For Training

When buying a cap for the gym, err on the slightly tighter side. Movement, sweat, and bending will test the fit. You want it secure during deadlifts, overhead presses, and burpees.
